Since we started West Sussex Choi Kwang Do (WSCKD) in May 2006, we now cater for the training needs for over 80 Students a week across our 2 Schools. Until the week commencing 5 October 2009, the Tuesday and Friday Classes will continue to be at Angmering Village Hall, however with effect from Tuesday 6 October we are moving to the new Community Centre on Bramley Green, as our classes are growing and we need to consider student safety as our paramount priority. This means we should be able to expand our classes and services. We are compacting the Family Class to an hour and introducing a Class dedicated to Black Belt Candidates for those becoming eligible in 2010. As School Owner I firmly believe that the under 16s deserve dedicated tuition under the supervision of myself and my fellow Assistant Instructors. You hear of Educational Teachers looking after classes of 30 Pupils, however we dedicate 1 Supervising Instructor for every 4 students. The main reason for this is we are teaching not only a physical Martial Art but stimulating the mind, building co-ordination skills and developing self confidence and awareness. Our strength is that we split the Classes down by belt ranks to dedicate teaching resource where it is needed. . . . . at a level the Students can work. I have attached maps and an explanation of the training for each of our Locations on the left menu, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call us on 07955 162886 Adrian Hughes School Owner, West Sussex Choi Kwang Do |
